Job summary

Schaeffler Technologies AG & Co. KG is seeking a Junior/Mid/Senior Customs Specialist in Wroclaw, Poland. You will support international trade documentation and master data management to ensure correct origin and preferential treatment.

Collaboration with suppliers and customers via SAP-GTS and SAP-ERP is key. The role requires 1–2 years in customs or related fields, strong IT skills (SAP-ERP, SAP-GTS, MS Office), and fluent Polish and English (German a plus).

Qualifications

• Completed studies in International Business or related field with relevant courses in trade.
• 1–2 years of professional experience in a customs/related area.
• Strong IT skills including SAP-ERP and SAP-GTS, plus MS Office.
• Polish and English at least B2; German is a plus.
• Excellent analytical, communication and customer-oriented abilities.

Responsibilities

• Support inbound/outbound documentation for EU free trade agreements.
• Maintain master data to determine origin and preferential origin.
• Manage preferential supplier declarations via SAP-GTS.
• Handle foreign trade data in customer portals and SAP systems.
• Assist suppliers and customers with origin-related requests by mail/phone.
• Analyze preferential calculations and improve status where possible.
• Create and update process documentation and procedures.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Supporting operational handling of legally required inbound and outbound documentation to make use of international free trade agreements concluded by the European Union
• Supporting maintenance and monitoring of required master data to determine both the country of origin and the preferential origin
• Requesting, checking and maintaining preferential supplier’s declarations via SAP-GTS
• Maintaining foreign trade data in customer portals
• Maintaining and monitoring origin related master data in SAP-ERP and SAP-GTS
• Supporting external suppliers and customers with origin related requests via mail and phone communication
• Analyzing preferential calculation results and taking actions to improve the preferential status
• Implementing and reporting measures to allow for error prevention
• Creating and updating process documentation and working procedures

Your Qualifications

• Completed studies in International Business or in a related field of education with an equivalent courses or lectures delivered in the area of International Trade / International Finance/Customs
• Minimum of 1-2 years of professional experience in a relevant field
• Excellent IT system skills (SAP-ERP, Microsoft Office); SAP-GTS skills are mandatory
• Very good command of the Polish language (min. B2 level)
• Very good command of the English language (min. B2 level)
• Knowledge of German is a plus
• Strong customer orientation and communication skills
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
• Capability to working independently and collaboratively as part of a team
• Excellent communication skills, both in writing and speaking
