Job summary

Lionbridge Games is seeking a Localization Tools Support Specialist to accelerate automation across our localization environment. You will identify manual processes, build automation scripts, maintain tools, and collaborate with Engineering, IT, and Security to ensure reliable operations.

You will gain hands-on experience with AI-powered automation, work with memoQ servers, and help optimize enterprise-scale localization workflows while communicating effectively in English.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in localization engineering, automation, systems support, or a similar technical role.
• Strong scripting skills in Python and/or PowerShell.
• Experience designing and implementing automation solutions that reduce manual work.
• Hands-on experience using AI tools and technologies to build practical automation solutions.
• Working knowledge of databases and database management concepts.
• Experience working with localization platforms, translation management systems, or CAT tools.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• The ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Professional proficiency in English.
• Nice to Have Experience with memoQ, including server administration.
• Knowledge of Windows Server administration.
• Experience working with Azure and Git.
• Experience supporting enterprise‑scale localization environments.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain clear technical documentation for tools and automated processes.
• Promote the secure, responsible, and effective use of AI solutions across localization workflows.
• Administer localization platforms and supporting databases, including user access, maintenance, upgrades, backups, and performance monitoring.
• Investigate and resolve technical issues affecting localization systems and services.
• Maintain and enhance existing internal tools and projects.
• Provide technical support to Engineering, Production, and Localization teams.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains.
