Job summary

Avantor is seeking a Senior Director, Lean Excellence (EU & AMEA) to lead the regional Lean strategy and operating system across the end-to-end supply chain. You will drive transformation programs, partner with regional leaders, and deliver measurable improvements across procurement, planning, manufacturing, warehousing, logistics, and distribution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, or related field.
• 15+ years of progressive manufacturing, operations, and Lean leadership experience.
• Minimum 7+ years leading regional/global Lean transformation initiatives.
• Strong ability to operate in highly matrixed multinational organizations.
• Expert knowledge of Lean, Lean Six Sigma, and operational excellence systems.

Responsibilities

• Define and govern regional Lean Excellence strategy and operating system.
• Lead end-to-end supply chain transformation initiatives across regions.
• Drive cost optimization, service improvement, inventory reduction, and working capital improvement.
• Partner with leadership to break silos and improve cross-functional execution.
• Provide executive sponsorship for strategic transformation programs.
