Job summary

Adient plc is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Manager to lead Engineering, Maintenance, AME, Automation and Continuous Improvement at the plant level. The role focuses on driving strategy, innovation, and cost control to meet production and customer expectations.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in Manufacturing Engineering within automotive manufacturing, with strong leadership, collaboration and communication skills, and expertise in Lean, TPM and APQP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering, including leadership.
• Experience in automotive manufacturing industry.
• Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, TPM, APQP and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead Engineering, Maintenance, AME, Automation and CI functions at plant level.
• Develop and implement short- and long-term engineering strategies aligned with plant goals.
• Drive innovation and automation to improve productivity and quality.
• Manage CAPEX and OPEX budgets for the engineering department.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality, Supply Chain and Central Engineering teams.
