Job summary

BorgWarner in Poland is seeking an experienced design engineer to lead turbocharger design efforts and develop key components in collaboration with global teams. You will coordinate with customers and suppliers, perform GD&T analyses, and prepare 2D drawings and 3D models under ISO standards, while tracking changes through the product life cycle.

The role requires 3+ years in automotive, CAD proficiency, and strong English; additional languages and teamwork skills are valued.

Qualifications

Experience in international cooperation with customers and suppliers.
3+ years of relevant professional experience.
Automotive industry experience is advantageous.
Proven CAD systems experience.
Solid knowledge of GD&T and stack-up analysis.
Proficient in MS Office (Outlook/Word/Excel/PowerPoint/OneNote).
Fluent in English; additional languages advantageous.
Team player with strong organizational and prioritization skills.

Responsibilities

Design lead and develop turbocharger components and assemblies.
Lead technical discussions with customers and suppliers.
Perform technical analyses per general rules or internal standards.
Identify best technical solutions for production changes under change management.
Create 2D drawings and 3D models per ISO norms.
Collaborate with technical centers to resolve issues.
Control and track changes throughout the component life.
