Job summary

BorgWarner is seeking an experienced design engineer to lead the design and development of turbocharger components, coordinating with customers and suppliers and performing technical analyses under internal standards.

You will create 2D drawings and 3D models, ensure ISO compliance, monitor changes through the component life, and collaborate across technical centers to resolve issues. Strong CAD, GD&T, and MS Office skills, plus fluent English, are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in international cooperation with customers and suppliers.
• At least 3 years of relevant professional experience; automotive industry is a plus.
• Proven experience in CAD systems.
• Solid knowledge of GD&T and stack-up analysis.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote).
• Business fluency in English is required; other languages are a plus.
• Team player with good organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Design lead and development of whole turbocharger and particular components.
• Leading technical discussions with customers and suppliers.
• Conducting appropriate technical analysis in compliance with rules or internal standards and best practices.
• Finding the best technical solutions for production changes in change management scope.
• Preparing 2D drawings and 3D models in accordance with ISO norms and internal rules.
• Interacting with various technical centres to provide and solve technical issues.
• Controlling and tracking changes throughout the component life.
