Job summary

Infosys is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer in Poland to contribute to gas turbine and aero-engine development. You will perform conceptual and detailed design tasks, support manufacturing, and engage in service engineering activities for lifecycle extension.

You will participate in design reviews and apply modern engineering tools, with an emphasis on CATIA V5 and AutoCAD, and communicate effectively in English within a multi-cultural team.

Qualifications

• Min 3 years in the power/energy/industrial applications.
• Familiar with steam turbine design and principles.
• Familiarity with modern engineering tools, norms and design rules.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes involved would be an advantage.
• The ability to use CATIA V5 and AutoCAD.
• Effective English communication skills both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Execute general and detailed mechanical design tasks and projects.
• Participate in conceptual and detailed design studies to reach design freeze.
• Support manufacturing and aftersales/service engineering activities.
• Participate in design reviews and evaluate new technical solutions.
