Job summary

Solid Company in Kraków is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to administer, maintain, and enhance enterprise developer tools such as Nexus, GitHub, TeamCity, Jenkins, Jira Cloud, Confluence Cloud, and more. The role includes migration of Jira/Confluence to Atlassian Cloud and post-migration support with collaboration across Kraków and Dallas.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of Linux administration, strong Bash/Python scripting, and IaC experience with Terraform and Ansible, plus English

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of Linux administration experience.
• Strong Bash and Python scripting skills.
• Experience with Linux servers and applications.
• Experience with a public cloud platform, preferably GCP.
• IaC and automation with Terraform and Ansible.
• Strong troubleshooting of production issues.
• Experience with configuration management and privileged access.
• Good written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

Project

Join a team responsible for the administration, maintenance, and development of enterprise developer tools and platforms, including Nexus, GitHub, TeamCity, Jenkins, GCP Cloud Run, Jira Cloud, Confluence Cloud, and LiteLLM.

The project also includes the migration of Jira and Confluence from on-premises environments to Atlassian Cloud, covering preparation, migration activities, and post-migration support.

You will

• Administer, maintain, and improve developer tools and enterprise applications
• Manage applications hosted on Linux servers and troubleshoot production issues
• Automate administrative tasks using Bash, Python, Terraform, and Ansible
• Support cloud-based services and infrastructure, preferably on GCP
• Manage application configurations, access permissions, and system integrations
• Support the migration of Jira and Confluence from on-premises environments to Atlassian Cloud
• Assist with Jira Cloud administration, including users, groups, permissions, workflows, projects, and integrations
• Collaborate with engineers across Kraków and Dallas

Must have

• At least 5 years of hands-on experience with Linux administration
• Strong scripting skills in Bash and Python
• Experience operating and maintaining applications hosted on Linux servers
• Practical experience with a public cloud platform, preferably GCP
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code and automation, including Terraform and Ansible
• Strong troubleshooting skills and experience resolving production issues
• Experience managing application configurations and privileged access responsibly
• Good written and spoken English

Nice to have

• Knowledge of software supply-chain security and CI/CD platforms
• Experience with artifact repositories, identity and access management, and monitoring tools
• Experience supporting both on-premises and SaaS enterprise applications
• Hands-on Jira Cloud administration experience, including permission schemes, workflows, issue types, fields, screens, and integrations
