Job summary

Solid Company in Kraków seeks an experienced Cloud Platform Engineer to design, secure, and scale Google Cloud infrastructure for enterprise workloads. You will automate infrastructure with Terraform, manage GKE, Cloud Build, and Cloud Run, and strengthen security across the platform.

You will collaborate with global engineering teams to improve reliability, automation, and operational excellence while driving standardization and best practices across the cloud ecosystem.

Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Proficient with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
• Experience with GKE, Cloud Build, Cloud Run, and BigQuery in cloud-native architectures.
• Strong knowledge of DevSecOps, CI/CD, and SRE principles.
• Proficiency in Python, Go, or Bash.
• Experience with Helm, FluxCD, or similar deployment tools.
• Knowledge of cloud security, IAM, compliance, and monitoring.
• Strong understanding of containers and Kubernetes.
• Fluent in English and Polish.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain cloud-native solutions on Google Cloud Platform.
• Develop and automate infrastructure using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
• Build and support CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
• Implement cloud security controls and improve overall security posture.
• Configure and manage GCP services including GKE, Cloud Build, Cloud Run, and BigQuery.
• Integrate centralized cloud services such as IAM, networking, logging, and monitoring.
• Ensure compliance with cloud security and operational standards.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and operational procedures.
• Collaborate with global engineering teams to continuously improve platform reliability and automation.

Project

Join a global cloud engineering team responsible for building and securing enterprise-scale Google Cloud infrastructure. You'll work on modern cloud-native platforms, helping improve security, automation, and operational excellence while enabling the adoption of Google Cloud across a large international organization.

As part of the team, you'll design secure cloud solutions, automate infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code, and contribute to the development of scalable platform services supporting business-critical applications.
