Job summary

Solid Company in Kraków seeks an experienced Java engineer to design, develop, and maintain distributed systems and microservices using Java 25 and Spring Boot. You will drive DevOps adoption, analyze requirements, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, observable systems.

Responsibilities include improving CI/CD pipelines, incident management, and production stability, while adhering to SRE principles and modern software engineering practices.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in developing and supporting distributed systems with Java.
• Strong knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.
• Experience with Java 25 or newer Java versions.
• Good understanding of DevOps, CI/CD automation, and lifecycle management.
• Experience with Jenkins, Ansible, or similar automation tools.
• Knowledge of REST APIs and distributed system architecture.
• Experience with production support, incident management, and troubleshooting.
• Understanding of SRE, monitoring and observability.
• Familiarity with Jira and Confluence.
• Excellent English communication and cross-functional collaboration.
