Job summary

Nordea invites an experienced Lead Snowflake Developer to join the Regulatory Reporting Software Development Team. You will lead Snowflake data platforms, set standards, and mentor engineers while delivering scalable data solutions for regulatory reporting and analytics.

You will optimize performance, ensure security and compliance, collaborate with stakeholders, and drive CI/CD, testing, and data governance.

Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on experience designing and developing enterprise data warehouses on Snowflake.
• Advanced SQL and dimensional modeling skills for data platforms.
• Experience building reliable ELT/ETL pipelines and orchestrated data workflows with Python.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of scalable Snowflake data platforms and pipelines.
• Set technical direction; ensure SQL, designs, and code meet standards for quality, security, and compliance.
• Optimize Snowflake performance, cost, and capacity; drive CI/CD, testing, and observability.
• Mentor engineers, review code, and promote engineering best practices.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into secure, maintainable data solutions.
