Job summary

EPAM Systems seeks a Lead Java Full Stack Engineer to accelerate modernization of credit risk workflows and data platforms. You will drive model integration, transition legacy models to modern architectures, and collaborate with risk teams to align solutions with business needs.

The role supports hybrid work in Poland and allows international travel up to 60 days per year. The ideal candidate has extensive Java-focused full-stack experience, Python for analytics integration, and familiarity with

Qualifications

8+ years of full-stack Java-focused software engineering experience.
Proficiency in Python for model and analytics integration.
Experience with AI-assisted SDLC tools and workflows.
Familiarity with DB2 or similar legacy data platforms.
English proficiency at B2 level or higher.

Responsibilities

Drive modernization efforts across credit risk workflows and model integration processes.
Support the transition of legacy models to modernized architectures.
Integrate model runs from business workflows with the analytics platform to return ratings.
Contribute to data modernization initiatives, including DB2 exit work.
Collaborate with risk teams to align technical solutions with business needs.
Leverage AI-assisted development tools to accelerate software delivery.
