Job summary

KK Group in Szczecin seeks a Lead Engineer – IT Operations to ensure reliability, integration, and lifecycle management of MES and OT infrastructure across production sites. You will provide governance, technical leadership, and hands-on support for shopfloor systems, including OT devices and production PCs.

The role bridges IT and Operations, emphasizing collaboration with OT system owners, cyber security, and cross-functional teams to maintain secure and reliable MES/OT operations.

Qualifications

• Experience with MES platforms and shopfloor IT.
• Strong understanding of OT networks and Purdue Model.
• Ability to document topology and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain OT assets (shopfloor PCs, printers, scanners, industrial PCs).
• Ensure OT governance standards are applied consistently with asset naming and ownership.
• Collaborate with Cyber Security and OT owners to comply with NIS2 and ISO 62443.
• Lead provisioning of shopfloor PCs, tablets, and new equipment connected to MES/OT.
• Oversee shopfloor connectivity (MQTT/HTTP, Wi-Fi) between IT and OT networks.
• Manage MES/OT incidents and drive root-cause analysis to reduce recurring issues.
• Establish monitoring for OT devices and MES services; manage patching and lifecycle.
• Support storage, backup, and retention for MES data.
• Maintain documentation and provide training to support teams.
