Job summary

EPAM Systems is seeking a Lead iOS Engineer to lead a mobile squad in Poland, arriving early to set up the codebase, tooling, and quality standards. You will guide architecture decisions and drive AI-assisted development across the team, balancing fast delivery with reliable software.

You'll mentor engineers, collaborate with backend and BFF streams, and shape SDLC with AI tools for faster scaffolding, tests, and reviews. Hybrid work, relocation options, and international exposure are offered.

Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on experience with native iOS development (Swift/SwiftUI).
• Proven track record of building new mobile apps from the ground up.
• Deep knowledge of iOS app architecture and clean code patterns.
• Experience designing API-driven mobile experiences and handling permissions.
• Experience with Push notifications and analytics SDKs, App Store release.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and architecture for the mobile stream.
• Mentor a squad of engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Negotiate API contracts with backend streams and own key deliverables.
• Drive AI-assisted SDLC acceleration including scaffolding, tests, reviews.
