SQUAD Ukraine Limited in Poland invites a seasoned ML researcher specializing in computer vision to join a distributed team. You will explore innovative algorithms and deploy models for edge or cloud environments, balancing performance and scalability.

Day-to-day work includes setting up experiments, training and validating models, and reporting results. You will mentor juniors, collaborate with cross‑functional teams, and publish findings to advance the company’s research agenda.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in machine learning with a focus on computer vision.
• Experience with classification, detection, or segmentation problems.
• Proficient in Python and ML libraries (NumPy, scikit-learn, pandas, SciPy).
• Strong written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Develop innovative ML algorithms and deploy them in production.
• Analyze large datasets to find correlations and visualize results.
• Tune hyperparameters to improve model performance.
• Collaborate with colleagues from other departments.
• Report progress and project achievements to management.
• Explore new ML technologies and integrate them into workflows.
• Mentor junior teammates and share knowledge.
