Job summary

Red Sky Poland is seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer (Robotics & Computer Vision) to own the product's ML core and drive its technical direction in a hands-on, startup environment. You will develop end-to-end DL pipelines, build robust CV systems, and integrate AI capabilities into a physical robotics product from day one.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of end-to-end Deep Learning experience: data processing, architecture design, training from scratch, and deep fine-tuning.
• Proven track record of engineering advanced Computer Vision systems in industrial automation.
• Advanced framework proficiency with PyTorch; custom data loaders and loss functions.
• Computer Vision: CNNs, ViTs, object detection, and segmentation.
• Solid software engineering; production-ready ML components.
• Fluent Polish and English (spoken and written).

Responsibilities

• Owning the AI/ML/Vision core of the product, aligning with the CTO & Co-founder to the technical strategy.
• Writing custom training loops, designing neural network architectures (e.g., in PyTorch), and managing end-to-end lifecycle from data processing to edge deployment.
• Building the AI/ML/Vision components of the MVP, managing architecture design, training, fine-tuning, and hardware control interfaces.
• Proposing and helping define the AI/ML stack and model architecture.
• Monitoring AI, computer vision, and robotics trends to maintain a competitive edge.
• Mentoring engineers joining the AI/ML function as the team grows.
• Translating customer feedback into robust AI/ML technical requirements.
• Contributing to a culture of code quality, ownership, and rapid iteration.
