Job summary

Valmet in Poland seeks a Lead Engineer for Marine Refits based in Gliwice or Wrocław. You will lead the technical execution and planning of refit projects, coordinate with the Project Manager and Team Leader, and act as the main technical interface for customers, ensuring contractual alignment, testing, and on-site activities from surveys to sea trials.

• Technical knowledge of hardware and system aspects in automation systems.
• Fluent/ native Polish and English.
• Willingness to travel 30–50% of working time.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical execution and planning of Marine Refits projects.
• Act as main technical interface between Valmet and customers for the project duration.
• Coordinate with Project Manager and Team Leader; oversee FAT, site surveys, installation, commissioning and sea trials.
