Job summary

Air Liquide Global E&C Solutions in Poland is seeking a Lead Engineer specializing in Rotating Equipment to join our Cracow team. You will take ownership of delivering assigned rotating packages in line with contractual requirements, quality, schedule, and cost efficiency.

The role involves coordinating with other disciplines, performing inspections, supervising installation and commissioning, and supporting offers.

Qualifications

Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (preferred Mechanical Engineering / Rotating Equipment).
Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar position (at machine manufacturer, engineering office or in a chemical / petrochemical plant).
Good communication skills in Polish and English language.
Detailed knowledge of pump, steam turbine, reciprocating and turbo compressor design.
5 year experience of project execution of complex rotating equipment, after 3 years as leader/project engineer.
Very good computer skills.
Willingness to travel and to work abroad in engineering centers or at construction sites.

Responsibilities

Independent coordination in the project execution including preparation of technical inquiries, technical bid analysis, technical orders and review of vendor documents.
Coordination with other disciplines like instrumentation, civil and piping during project execution.
Performing technical inspections at the manufacturer’s workshop.
Supervision for installation and commissioning at site.
Preparation and support for offers.
