Job summary

Esko is seeking an engineering leader to guide the Agentic AI platform. You will supervise the Agentic AI engineering team, drive end-to-end platform ownership, and work with product and architecture teams to deliver reliable AI-enabled capabilities.

You will shape direction, set engineering standards, and ensure adoption across multiple product teams, balancing platform coherence with domain-specific needs in a global environment.

Qualifications

• Strong production software engineering experience in Python, TypeScript, Java.
• Experience leading and developing engineers including line management and coaching.
• Experience building a platform, API, or shared service used by multiple teams.
• Experience designing or building production AI systems with large language models and agentic workflows.
• Ability to balance platform coherence with product/domain differences and make clear technical trade-offs.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Agentic AI engineering team with clear goals and career development.
• Contribute to the design, implementation, and operation of Esko's shared Agentic AI platform.
• Shape platform direction, architecture, interfaces, and engineering quality with the community.
• Translate needs into reusable platform capabilities while respecting domain differences.
• Establish engineering practices for reliability, security, observability, and performance.
• Support adoption of the shared platform by product engineering teams.
