Job summary

Nexi's Polskie ePłatności in Rzeszów seeks a KYC/AML Specialist (POS) to verify new merchants and ensure AML compliance. You will assess registry data, identify owners, screen against sanctions and card schemes, and decide on contract activation, rejection, or escalation.

Qualifications

• Fluency in Polish and English (B2) required.
• Higher education in Economics, Finance, Law, Administration, Management or related field.
• Ability to analyse company registry data and ownership structures.
• Good command of MS Office, especially Excel.

Responsibilities

• Carry out KYC/AML verification of new POS merchants in line with Polish AML Act and internal procedures, as the final step before contract activation.
• Verify company registry data (KRS, CEIDG) and assess data completeness and consistency.
• Identify representatives and beneficial owners; check ownership structures against CRBR.
• Screen merchants and related persons against sanctions lists and card scheme databases; analyze matches.
• Verify merchant outlets and assign MCC codes per Visa/Mastercard rules.
• Review identity verification results, including remote video verification.
• Assess merchant financial credibility and refer to Collections when needed.
• Determine risk level and decide on contract activation, rejection or escalation.
• Clarify discrepancies with account managers and cooperate with Compliance and Card Scheme teams.
• Participate in merchant portfolio migrations and process improvement projects.
• Follow AML regulatory changes and KNF guidance.
