Job summary

SpotOn, Inc. in Kraków, Poland, is hiring a Compliance Systems & Data Analyst to design, implement, and manage AI/ML-enabled KYC and underwriting workflows.

You will streamline identity verification, data extraction, and risk scoring while reducing manual reviews and errors. The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration with Engineering, Data Services, and Product teams to deploy compliant, scalable solutions using OCR, regex, and LLM-based approaches.

Qualifications

• 3 years minimum experience with Artificial Intelligence (AI) & Machine Learning (ML) models.
• 5+ years experience in financial institution/payment processor/merchant monitoring for fraud and/or compliance.
• Underwriting and/or KYC experience heavily preferred.
• Experience building solutions in house with engineering and vendor integrations for fraud/risk, AML and identity management/decisioning.
• Experience with model validations and rules testing.
• Ability to create reports in SQL or Metabase.
• Strong communication skills and ability to document clearly.
• Project management experience and ability to work in a fast-growing tech environment.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities

• Driving Compliance Automation & Optimization across KYC/AML and underwriting workflows.
• Analyze existing workflows to identify bottlenecks and opportunities for automation.
• Develop AI/ML/RPA solutions for data extraction, biometric verification, and automated decisioning.
• Validate models and data to ensure accuracy, ethics, and governance.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Operations and Product teams to deploy features.
• Maintain regulatory alignment and monitor KPIs/KRIs for continuous improvement.
