Takeda in Lodz, Poland is seeking a Knowledge Transfer Manager to support the Knowledge Transfer Project Management Office in coordinating transition and knowledge transfer activities across waves and functions.
You will maintain detailed plans aligned with timelines, coordinate subject matter experts, track progress, and ensure documentation, SOPs and training materials are completed for readiness and governance.
The Knowledge Transfer Manager supports the Knowledge Transfer Project Management Office in coordinating and managing Transition and Knowledge Transfer planning and execution within a transition wave or business unit or business function scope. The role helps ensure that knowledge transfer activities are structured, scheduled, tracked, and completed in line with transition milestones, so GCM teams can reach the operational readiness and capability needed to deliver at steady state.
Support and maintain detailed knowledge transfer plans aligned with transition wave timelines and milestones
Support Functional Transition Leads and Transition Wave Managers across all parts of the transition
Define knowledge transfer schedules, maintain the list of required subject matter experts, and coordinate participant availability across sending and receiving teams
Ensure knowledge transfer plans cover all in-scope processes, systems, and responsibilities within the assigned wave
Coordinate and track day-to-day knowledge transfer activities across all phases, including shadowing, reverse shadowing, and documentation completion
Monitor progress against plan, track completion rates, and flag delays or readiness gaps to the Functional Transition Lead or Transition Wave Manager
Facilitate knowledge transfer sessions and ensure all required participants are engaged and informed
Track knowledge transfer readiness against defined milestones and stage-gate criteria
Maintain current knowledge transfer status reports and dashboards for governance forums and the Functional Transition Lead
Ensure structured readiness testing inputs are captured and reported accurately
Make sure all knowledge transfer deliverables, including standard operating procedures, process maps, training materials, and work instructions, are completed, reviewed, and signed off within agreed timelines
Maintain a central repository of knowledge transfer documentation and supporting evidence
Identify and track knowledge transfer issues, gaps, and risks, and elevate unresolved items to the Functional Transition Lead or Transition Wave Manager
Coordinate issue resolution across subject matter experts, GCM delivery teams, and functional teams
3 or more years of experience in project coordination, PMO, or knowledge management roles within global organizations
Experience supporting knowledge transfer activities in transition, shared services, or global business services or global capability center environments preferred
Exposure to transition planning, process documentation, and operational readiness activities
Strong project coordination and tracking skills, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams at the same time
Ability to develop and maintain knowledge transfer trackers, readiness dashboards, and governance reports
Proficiency in project tracking and collaboration tools
Familiarity with transition methods, knowledge transfer frameworks, and stage-gate governance
Bachelor’s degree required
Fluent in English
