Job summary

Husqvarna Group seeks a Junior T&E Accountant to join the AP team in Warsaw, helping transit and establish best-in-class travel and expense services. You will process claims, review documentation, and ensure policy compliance in a supportive, international environment.

Qualifications

• University degree or ongoing studies in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• Basic understanding of accounting and financial processes.
• English proficiency (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Process employee travel and expense claims per procedures.
• Review expense claims and supporting documents for accuracy.
• Check compliance with Travel & Expense policy.
• Follow up on missing or incorrect documentation.
• Respond to basic employee queries on travel and expenses.
• Support account reconciliations and month-end close.
• Prepare basic expense-related reports and data.
• Maintain accurate data in the T&E system.
• Assist the team with day-to-day T&E activities.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of T&E processes.

Your main tasks

• Processing employee travel and expense claims in line with established procedures
• Reviewing expense claims and supporting documentation for completeness and accuracy
• Checking compliance of submitted expenses with the company's Travel & Expense policy
• Following up with employees in case of missing or incorrect documentation
• Responding to basic employee queries related to travel and expense claims
• Supporting account reconciliations and month-end closing activities
• Preparing basic reports and data related to employee expenses
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date data in the T&E system
• Supporting the team with day-to-day T&E activities and process-related tasks
• Supporting continuous improvement of Travel & Expense processes

Requirements

• University degree or ongoing studies in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or a related field
• Basic understanding of accounting and financial processes
• Good command of written and spoken English
• Good knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Good organizational and time-management skills
• Good communication skills and a service-oriented approach
• Ability to work independently on assigned tasks while being a supportive team member
• Willingness to learn and develop within the Travel & Expense area
• Previous experience in accounting, finance, administration or customer service would be an advantage
• Previous experience with a T&E process or financial system (e.g. NEO, JD Edwards) would be an advantage
