fusionSpan is seeking a sharp, technically-minded Junior Systems Administrator to join our US-based team. This long-term, 100% remote, b2b contract from Poland offers flexible hours and a focus on reliability and security of our core platforms.
You will work at the intersection of cloud infrastructure and software integration, learning Salesforce admin duties, AWS basics, REST/SOAP APIs, and scripting to automate workflows while documenting everything clearly for the team.
fusionSpan is a dynamic, fast-paced hybrid and remote work environment that prioritizes innovation, trust, and community in everything we do. We are a team of highly-committed individuals inspired by technology's impact on society, and we recognize our work's role in the well-being of our nonprofit clients and the communities they serve.
As an AI-first organization, we keep our eyes tuned to the horizon, finding new ways to leverage cutting-edge technologies in ways that drive improvements in operational efficiency and impact, both for our clients and for our internal team.
This is a long term b2b contract. You will be working remotely from Poland with US-based team members. We would want some flexibility with hours, so a typical day would be from 11.00 to 19.00 or from 12.00 to 20.00 CEST/CET.
We are looking for a sharp, curious, technically-minded Junior Systems Administrator to join our team. This is an early-career position designed for a high-potential individual who is eager to manage and evolve the backbone of our business operations.
In this role, you will sit at the intersection of cloud infrastructure and software integration. You will be responsible for the health, security, and connectivity of our core platforms, ensuring that data flows cleanly across our ecosystem.
A note on experience with our specific platforms. This is a technical role and it requires real technical ability. You need to be able to read and write code, reason about how systems talk to each other, and work confidently in a command line, a log file, and an API. What you do not need is prior experience in Salesforce, AWS, or any other product on this page. Those are learnable, and we will teach them to you. If you have a solid technical foundation and a track record of picking up unfamiliar systems quickly, do not screen yourself out because you have never touched a Salesforce org.
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science (preferred), Information Technology, Management Information Systems (MIS), or a related technical field.
Prior experience in these specific platforms is not required. We train on all of them. They are listed so you know what the environment looks like.
While this is an early-career role, professional IT experience, internships, help desk or support work, and personal development projects are all highly valued. Direct exposure to the Salesforce ecosystem, the AWS Management Console, or API testing tools is a plus and will shorten your ramp, but it will not outweigh technical fundamentals and the ability to learn.
This is a position that will allow you to grow your career in a high-growth US-based company. Needs good English communication skills. The position is 100% remote.
