Job summary

UPM in Poland is seeking a Junior Supply Planner to join our planning team near Wrocław. You will help plan production, schedule orders, and coordinate with Operations, Procurement and other teams to keep plans aligned with demand.

You will learn to spot supply risks early, use digital tools and Excel formulas, and grow into a confident planner with expanding responsibilities across the business. The role offers hybrid work, mentorship from senior planners, and a chance to contribute to

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field or equivalent experience.
• Clear communication in Polish and English, both written and spoken.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Plan production runs and schedule orders based on demand, stock, and capacity.
• Manage laminate stock levels and balance delivery reliability with waste avoidance.
• Collaborate with Operations, Procurement and other teams for smooth information flow.
• Identify supply risks early and coordinate solutions with stakeholders.
• Keep planning data and capacity information up to date in systems.
• Monitor delivery and inventory performance and take corrective action.
• Plan trials and support product introductions or phase-outs.
• Leverage digital tools and Excel to improve planning decisions and data quality.
• Share knowledge and provide cover for other Supply Planners when needed.

What you will do

• Plan production runs and schedule orders based on customer demand, stock levels, available materials and machine capacity
• Manage laminate stock levels, balancing reliable delivery with the need to avoid excess stock and waste
• Work with Operations, Procurement and other teams to make sure information flows clearly and production runs smoothly
• Spot supply risks early, help find solutions and keep the right people informed when plans change
• Keep planning data and production capacity information up to date in our systems
• Track delivery and inventory performance and take action when results are off target
• Plan trials and samples and support the introduction or phase-out of products
• Look for practical ways to use digital tools and AI to improve planning, decision-making and data quality
• Share your knowledge and support other Supply Planners, including providing cover when needed

Who you are

• You have a bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Logistics, Data Analytics, Engineering, Economics or a related field, or equivalent experience
• You communicate clearly in Polish and English, both spoken and written
• You enjoy working with people and building good working relationships
• You can adapt when plans change and keep track of your priorities
• You stay organized when priorities change
• You are comfortable working with numbers and checking your work for accuracy
• You are curious, look for practical solutions and take the initiative when something needs attention
• You are willing to make decisions, ask questions when needed and take responsibility for your work
• You are confident using Excel, especially formulas and pivot tables
• Experience with an ERP system is a plus, but not required
