Tieto in Kraków seeks a software engineer specializing in LTE/5G troubleshooting and embedded software for gNB infrastructure. You will triage trouble reports, decide if issues are software-related, and collaborate with R&D, testers, and labs to implement fixes in C on dedicated hardware.

Qualifications

• Experience with LTE/5G protocols, especially Uu interface.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for 4G/5G networks.
• Proficiency with Linux terminal and scripting basics.
• Ability to read and understand C code.
• Organized, proactive, and willing to share knowledge.
• Excellent written and spoken English.

Responsabilités

• Maintain embedded software in C for gNB hardware.
• ATriage Trouble Reports and assess software-related issues.
• Coordinate with R&D to implement fixes and with testers/labs for validation.
• Analyze performance, interference, and other issues using scripts.
• Provide clear technical updates to internal teams in English.
