Job summary

Tieto in Szczecin seeks a skilled C developer for embedded software in a 5G/LTE context. You will maintain software on a proprietary hardware platform, handling PHY/MAC/RLC layers and triaging trouble reports for R&D.

You’ll engage with testers and labs, utilize data-analysis scripts, and contribute to reliability and performance improvements. Fluent English and proactive teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of LTE/5G protocols, especially the Uu interface.
• Understanding of UE attach procedure.
• Troubleshooting experience in 4G/5G networks.
• Linux terminal proficiency for file operations and scripting.
• Ability to read and understand C code.
• Higher technical education in Computer Science or related field.
• Very good English, both written and spoken.
• Organize own work and be proactive.

Responsibilities

• Maintain embedded software in C on the DU platform (PHY/MAC/RLC).
• Assess if issues are software-related and forward to R&D when needed.
• Support upper fault levels and cooperate with testers and labs.
• Use scripts to analyze large data sets and diagnose problems.
