Job summary

Tieto in Poland (Wrocław) is seeking a skilled troubleshooter with a 5G background to join our embedded software team. You will work on the DU software stack (PHY, MAC, RLC) in C on a vendor hardware platform and support Tier 3 customer issues.

You will analyze Trouble Reports, determine software relevance, coordinate with R&D for fixes, and assist testers and labs with verification. Strong Linux, English skills, and proactive collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of LTE/5G protocols, especially Uu interface.
• Strong troubleshooting experience for 4G/5G networks.
• Ability to read and understand C code.
• Proficiency with Linux terminal tasks.
• Proactive, team-oriented mindset with IT/telecom background.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose embedded software issues in gNB DU (PHY/MAC/RLC) on Linux.
• Determine if issues are software-related and escalate to R&D when needed.
• Collaborate with testers and labs for verification of fixes.
• Analyze Trouble Reports and use data scripts for diagnostics.
