Job summary

Hitachi Energy Poland is seeking an R&D Computational Fluid Dynamics Associate Engineer to join the Global Multi-Physic Simulation (GLOMUS) network. You will work with CFD analysts on thermo-fluid analyses for transformers and related equipment, developing自动化 tools and validating models.

You will collaborate across an international R&D environment, design experiments, and transfer knowledge to engineering teams. This role requires travel willingness and fluent English for global collaboration.

Qualifications

• PhD or MSc in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Physics or closely related field.
• Strong CFD and thermo-mechanical simulation experience.
• Experience with industry-standard tools like ANSYS, OpenFOAM, COMSOL.
• Programming/scripting in MATLAB, Python, Visual Basic.

Responsibilities

• Create and improve CFD automation tools for thermo-fluid analysis in electrical machines.
• Propose technical solutions for transformers and reactors to meet standards and performance.
• Maintain technical standards for thermo-mechanical performance of transformers.
• Collaborate in multi-physics simulations and design validation campaigns.
