Job summary

Alfa Laval Mid Europe GmbH in Kraków is seeking a Junior Master Data Specialist to join the Finance Operations team and ensure the accuracy of customer and supplier data across ERP systems.

You will perform data cleansing, maintain master data in D365, M3 and other platforms, and support data migrations. This role offers a hybrid work model and a diverse, international environment that values ownership and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in Master Data Management or data analysis.
• ERP systems experience is a plus.
• Strong Excel skills; Power Query / Power BI a plus.
• Detail-oriented, organized and tech-savvy.
• Polish and English language proficiency (Polish C1, English B2).

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain customer and supplier master data across ERP platforms (D365, M3, other systems).
• Ensure accuracy, completeness and consistency of master data records.
• Monitor, analyze and validate data relationships for high-quality data.
• Perform regular data cleansing (duplicates, obsolete records).
• Update exchange rates and period-end closing rates as scheduled.
• Manage tickets/requests via ServiceNow, One CRM and other platforms.
• Provide master data support to stakeholders and IT teams.
• Support SharePoint/OPTO administration and maintenance.
• Create/update process docs and work instructions.
• Participate in data quality improvements and migrations as needed.

As a Junior Master Data Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of customer and supplier data across multiple business systems.Working within the Order-to-Cash (OtC) organization, you will collaborate closely with Accounts Payable, Finance, IT, and local business teams across Europe. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop expertise in data management, ERP systems, and process improvement while gaining exposure to a diverse and multicultural organization.As a Junior Master Data Specialist, you will be responsible for:Creating and maintaining customer and supplier master data across multiple ERP platforms, including Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365), M3, and other business systems.Ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of master data records.Monitoring, analyzing, and validating data relationships to maintain high-quality data standards.Performing regular data cleansing activities, including identifying and removing duplicate, obsolete, or inaccurate records.Updating foreign exchange rates, netting rates, and period-end closing rates in line with established schedules.Managing tickets and requests received through ServiceNow, One CRM, and other support platforms.Providing master data support and guidance to business stakeholders and IT teams.Supporting the administration and maintenance of SharePoint and OPTO systems.Creating, updating, and maintaining process documentation and work instructions.Participating in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance data quality, efficiency, and user experience.Supporting future system implementations, data migration projects, and transformation initiatives as required.We are looking for:Min. 1 year of experience in Master Data Management or data analysisExperience with ERP systems will be an assetStrong Excel skills, Power Query or Power BI is a plusDetail-oriented, well-organized, and tech-savvy mindsetAbility to work independently and take ownership of tasksFluent in Polish (C1) and English (min.
