Job summary

Brenntag is hiring a Master Data Analyst in Łódź (city center) with a hybrid work setup (3 days in the office). The role focuses on creating, maintaining, and governing master data across enterprise systems to support accurate records and regulatory compliance.

The candidate will collaborate across functions, support data migration initiatives, and drive efficiency and data quality in financial operations. English and Italian communication skills are required.

Your Role

We are looking fora Master DataAnalyst who will support the creation, maintenance, and governance of master data across enterprise systems. The role involves performing transactional and analytical activities to ensure accurate setup of new records, updates to existing records, and identification of obsolete or duplicate records for deactivation or removal. As the role is part of a transition environment, hands-on experience in transition or migration projects is considered a valuable asset.

This position is ideal for detail-oriented professionals who thrive in collaborative environments and are passionate about driving efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.

Responsibilities

• Create, update, and maintain master data records in ERP and related business systems.

• Validate and monitor data accuracy, completeness, and compliance with internal standards and regulations.

• Apply data governance and standardization rules to prevent duplicates and ensure data consistency.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve data discrepancies and support operational processes.

• Conduct regular audits and analyses to identify data quality issues and implement corrective actions.

• Support process improvement initiatives, system transitions, and data migration activities.

• Build and maintain effective relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners where required..

Your Profile

• 2 to 3 years relevant professional experience in the Master Data Management field.

• Education degree in Finance, Business Analytics, Data Science, or equivalent qualification.

• Transition experience would be an asset.

• Strong team player with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Particularly Excel), SAP or equivalent ERP Tools.

• Good verbal and written communication skills in English and in Italian (min. C Level)

• Experience in a Shared Service Center, outsourcing, or similar environment is a strong Advantage.

• Detail-oriented, proactive, and committed to continuous improvement.
