Job summary

Sanoma Learning in Warsaw is seeking an HR Specialist to deliver comprehensive services to employees, including contracts, benefits, and HR documentation. You will manage inquiries, maintain personnel data, and support payroll-related tasks using Polish HR systems.

You will work with Płatnik, Teta, and Workday, ensuring compliance with labour law and social security while contributing to process improvements across the HR function.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar position.
• Knowledge of English (min. B2).
• Very good knowledge of MS Excel.
• Practical knowledge of labour law.
• Practical knowledge of Social Security issues.
• Knowledge of PPK accounting principles.
• Knowledge of Teta and Workday is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of documents for employees: employment contracts, agreements, annexes, terminations.
• Handling employee inquiries in the HR system.
• Managing employee benefits: medical care, sports card, life insurance.
• Controlling sick leave - collecting required statements and applications.
• Preparation of documents in the Płatnik program.
• Preparation of monthly reports and HR indicators reports.
• Cooperation with control bodies and external institutions - ZUS, bailiffs, PIP.
• Assistance in preparation of HR documents for external company calculating salaries.
• Operation of internal HR systems - entering and updating data.
• Maintaining and updating of personnel files.
• Preparation of certificates for employees.
