ROCKWOOL Group in Poznań is seeking a Junior GDPR Specialist to join the Legal and Compliance team. You will support data privacy initiatives across more than 20 legal areas and collaborate with local counsels and privacy coordinators worldwide.

You will help implement ROCKWOOL’s privacy strategy, shaping best practices and fostering a culture of data protection across the organization.

Formación

• Master’s degree in law or a related field.
• Experience in an international company is preferred.
• Fluent English, both spoken and written.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain legal matters clearly.
• Business-oriented approach with openness to improvement.

• Willingness to travel periodically for business purposes.

Responsabilidades

• Advise on data protection requirements and standards across the business, especially digital solutions.
• Provide legal advice on data processing, transfers, and privacy risks.
• Support new business initiatives to ensure privacy compliance.
• Collaborate with IT, HR, Procurement, and legal teams across the ROCKWOOL Group.
• Carry out privacy impact assessments and data mapping using internal tools.
• Oversee data transfers and ensure appropriate transfer mechanisms.
• Update policies, manuals, procedures, and templates as needed.
• Deliver data protection training and raise awareness across the organization.
• Coordinate responses to data subject access requests and manage data breaches.

We are looking for a Junior GDPR Specialist to join our Legal team in Poznań. If you care about data privacy and want to make a meaningful impact on how an international company manages personal data, this could be the perfect next step in your career.

Your future team :

As a Junior GDPR Specialist, you’ll be part of the international ROCKWOOL Group Legal and Compliance team supporting the business in more than 20 legal areas of responsibility. We work closely with local legal counsels, data privacy coordinators, and compliance managers across the ROCKWOOL Group.

You will closely collaborate with GDPR Compliance Specialist based in Poznań, who is in charge of ensuring ongoing compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other relevant privacy laws throughout the ROCKWOOL Group. It means you will be involved in real-world GDPR challenges and will be able to contribute directly to keeping ROCKWOOL a trusted and responsible business.

What you will be doing :

You’ll help drive the execution of ROCKWOOL’s data privacy strategy, shaping and promoting best practices that protect our business. Your expertise will directly influence how we build a strong culture of data protection across the organization.

• Advise on data protection requirements and standards across all aspects of the business, with particular emphasis on digital solutions.
• Provide legal advice for business units around the world regarding data processing activities, data transfers, and privacy risks.
• Engage in new business initiatives to secure their alignment with privacy laws.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across the business, including IT, HR, Procurement, and legal advisors outside the organization.
• Perform privacy impact assessments and data mapping activities using our tailor‑made digital tools.
• Monitor the sharing of personal data within the ROCKWOOL Group and ensure that applicable transfer mechanisms are established and followed.
• Prepare and implement improvements by updating our policies, manuals, procedures, and templates.
• Deliver data protection training to employees and raise awareness across the organization by designing data privacy campaigns.
• Ensure ROCKWOOL responds appropriately to data subject access requests and manages personal data breaches, including maintaining accurate reporting and documentation.

What you bring :

• Master’s degree, preferably in law, but other relevant degrees can also be considered,
• Experience in a similar role, ideally in an international company,
• Fluent spoken and written English,
• Great communication skills, ability to convey complicated legal matters simply and engagingly, regardless of the audience,
• Business-oriented approach : open mind for opportunities for improvement and simplification where possible,
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multicultural environment,
• Eagerness to learn and self‑development,
