Job summary

ROCKWOOL Group in Poznań is seeking a Junior GDPR Specialist to join the Legal and Compliance team. You will support data privacy initiatives across more than 20 legal areas and collaborate with local counsels and privacy coordinators worldwide.

You will help implement ROCKWOOL’s privacy strategy, shaping best practices and fostering a culture of data protection across the organization.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in law or a related field.
• Experience in an international company is preferred.
• Fluent English, both spoken and written.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain legal matters clearly.
• Business-oriented approach with openness to improvement.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multicultural environment.
• Willingness to travel periodically for business purposes.

Responsibilities

• Advise on data protection requirements and standards across the business, especially digital solutions.
• Provide legal advice on data processing, transfers, and privacy risks.
• Support new business initiatives to ensure privacy compliance.
• Collaborate with IT, HR, Procurement, and legal teams across the ROCKWOOL Group.
• Carry out privacy impact assessments and data mapping using internal tools.
• Oversee data transfers and ensure appropriate transfer mechanisms.
• Update policies, manuals, procedures, and templates as needed.
• Deliver data protection training and raise awareness across the organization.
• Coordinate responses to data subject access requests and manage data breaches.
