Qualifications

• Analytical mindset with focus on data quality and detail.
• Basic SQL (SELECT, JOIN, filters) is a plus.
• Interest in Power BI and data automation.
• Background in real estate, consulting, or data environments is a plus.

Job Description Summary

The Data Entry & Data Operations Specialist, Belux is a key operational role supporting the Business Development Services function for the Belux market. This role will be responsible for ensuring the accurate capture, quality, and efficient use of real estate data, making sure the information used by business, analysis, and reporting teams is precise, consistent, and scalable. This position plays an important role in strengthening the data foundation needed to support decision-making across the Belux business. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and eager to grow within the world of data by learning to scale data processes through automation and reporting. This role will work closely with research analysts, consultants, and business teams to ensure data is properly used and interpreted.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Data Management & Quality

• Collect information from internal and external sources (real estate portals, public records, technical reports, internal systems).
• Update and maintain databases on assets, prices, yields, occupancy, and other market KPIs for the Belux market.
• Run data quality controls (consistency, duplicates, formatting, temporal coherence) and identify areas for improvement.
• Prepare and structure datasets for analysis, studies, and specific projects.
• Support with cleansing and enhancing the dataset to assist with analysis requirements and enhanced analytics.
• Identify and catalogue new data sets that could support our analytical ambitions
• Ensure market data is ready ahead of reporting deadlines.

Automation & Data Exploitation

• Identify repetitive data entry tasks and propose improvements or automations to optimize processes.
• Create and maintain SQL queries for data extraction, validation, and cross-referencing between different sources.
• Support basic data modeling for reporting and analysis.
• Collaborate on the creation and maintenance of Power BI dashboards, both operational and KPI-tracking.
• Support data reconciliations between systems and sources (source vs. reporting).

Documentation & Collaboration

• Document data capture, validation, automation, and data flow processes.
• Work closely with research analysts and business teams to ensure correct use and interpretation of data.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and data process standardization.

Knowledge & Experience:

• Fluent in French and English. Dutch is a plus
• Common MS Office applications to excellent levels including SharePoint and OneDrive.
• Strong command of Excel (formulas, pivot tables, data validation; Power Query is a plus).
• 1 to 3 years of experience in data management, data entry, reporting, or similar functions.
• Analytical mindset, focus on data quality, and strong attention to detail.
• Basic knowledge of SQL (SELECT, JOIN, filters) is a plus.
• Experience with or interest in Power BI (datasets, simple models, visualizations) is a plus.
• Interest in process automation and operational optimization.
• Basic understanding of data concepts: tables, relationships, KPIs, data flows.
• Prior experience in real estate, consulting, or data-related environments is a plus, not a requirement.
• A self-starter mindset, and a passion for making business improvements.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
