Job summary

Ericsson GmbH in Łódź invites you to join as a Cloud Native Software Engineer. You will design, integrate and test Ericsson solutions on top of different Cloud Native platforms and contribute to open cloud-native projects in an agile, international team.

We look for basics in programming (Bash, C++, Erlang), familiarity with DevOps tools, and English at least B2. The role is hybrid with three days onsite, and offers growth through cutting-edge cloud technologies.

Qualifications

• Passion for new technologies and readiness to learn Cloud technologies.
• Basic experience in programming & scripting (e.g. Bash, C++, Erlang)
• Familiarity with DevOps tools (Git, Gerrit, Jenkins)
• BSc/MSc level in Computer Science or the equivalent level of knowledge
• At least B2 level in English, written and spoken

Responsibilities

• Design, integrate and test Ericsson solutions on top of different Cloud Native platforms
• Adapt microservice cloud-native paradigms to reach the full potential of cloud-native solutions
• Work with different opensource Cloud applications depending on projects requirements (e.g. AppArmor, Gatekeeper)
• Test on feature & system test level of the delivered functionalities
• Develop solutions agnostic to Cloud deliveries (e.g. Kubernetes, Docker, OpenShift)
• Collaborate in an Agile cross-functional team
• Work in in a multi-cultural & international environment

What you will do

To be successful in the role you need to have

Nice to have

• More advanced programming skills (C++)
• Some experience in cloud technologies (e.g., OpenStack, Kubernetes/Docker)
• Linux scripting experience
