Job summary

Ericsson Krakow is seeking a C/C++ developer to work on LTE/5G software projects. You will design and implement features, refactor code, and enhance automated tests within an international, Agile team.

The role requires 2+ years in C/C++, Linux, and English at B2 level, plus experience with AI-powered tools and CI/CD workflows. Hybrid work arrangement with strong collaboration across disciplines.

Qualifications

• GTEST knowledge and Git proficiency

Our Product Engineering Unit CCI (RAN Compute & Cloud Infrastructure) is one of the main R&D units within Ericsson’s Radio Access Network domain. The unit is accountable for Ericsson products, including Baseband, Street Macro and Site solutions, both for SW and HW, over the full lifecycle. CCI is a competence center for common design functions (e.g. digital ASIC and FPGA, PCB layout, power, mechanics, thermal, interconnect, synchronization, security) and tools. At R&D Center Poland we develop SW system and design solutions for baseband, interconnect, security and site products. We address telecommunication business needs from around the globe by delivering innovative software (e.g. 5G/6G functionalities) mmeeting the highest telecom industry quality standards.

Currently we are expanding our department, and we are looking for a C/C++ developer to work on LTE/5G software development projects.

What you will do:

• Design and develop new features in all design phases from early studies and design to release and maintenance
• Code refactoring and adding new improvements/Product Cares to the product
• Develop and improve automated testing, verification and CI/CD workflows
• Create technical documentation for introduced software changes
• Work in an international environment with supportive teammates
• Work in Agile framework (Scrum), projects managed in JIRA

The skills you bring:

• Education in Technical Fields (Computer Science, Telecommunication or equivalent)
• At least 2 years of professional experience developing software in C/C++ C/C++ 17 or later versions
• Experience with AI-powered developer tools in daily software development workflow (e.g. AI code assistants, automated code review, AI-driven testing or debugging tools)
• Testing skills/frameworks knowledge –e.g.GTEST, good familiarity with version control systems (GIT)
• Linux knowledge
• Advanced communication in English (min B2)
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Strong collaboration and teamwork mindset

Nice to have, but nota must:

• Experience in Telecommunication Technology
• BASH, JAVA, Python
