Job summary

Sperasoft is seeking a Build and Release Engineer to enhance the game build and deployment pipeline. You will collaborate with Engineering and QA to optimize pipelines, improve redundancy, and ensure stable build services.

The role involves maintaining CI processes, diagnosing performance issues, and updating tools while contributing to game development as needed. Strong English communication and proactive teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Development and debugging experience in C++.
• Strong CS fundamentals (algorithms, data structures, OS).
• Familiarity with version control systems (Perforce, Git, SVN).
• Familiarity with Gradle or XCode.
• Good analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication skills and good written English.
• Self-driven and a team player with work ethics.
• Aptitude to reduce technical barriers and improve efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Support and improve CI, build verification and deployment pipelines.
• Analyze build system performance and troubleshoot issues.
• Keep build tools up to date and coordinate updates.
• Review proposed solutions and peer code.
• Update pipeline documentation and configuration guides.
• Ensure efficiency and maintainability of the build system.
• Maintain and extend platform tools.
• Contribute to game development as a secondary role.
