Job summary

Sperasoft in Warsaw is seeking a Build and Release Engineer to improve our build and deployment pipelines for games and tools. You will work closely with Engineering and QA to optimize pipelines, boost reliability, and coordinate tool updates.

Hands-on contributions to game development are encouraged as part of a broader role. Ideal candidates bring strong C++ development and CI/CD experience, solid CS fundamentals, and proficiency with version control systems.

Qualifications

• Experience in programming and debugging in C++.
• Strong CS fundamentals (algorithms, data structures, OS).
• Knowledge of version control systems (Perforce, Git, SVN).
• Good analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong written English communication.

Responsibilities

• Support and improve development pipelines (CI, build verification, deployment).
• Analyze build system performance and resolve issues with engineering teams.
• Keep build tools up to date and coordinate updates.
• Review proposed solutions and peer code.
• Update pipeline documentation and configuration guides.
• Maintain efficiency and maintainability of the build system.
• Maintain and extend platform tools.
• Contribute to game development as a secondary role.
