Job summary

Heidelberg Materials AG in Wrocław is looking for a Junior Expert System Specialist (AI & Advanced Process Control). The role focuses on developing, deploying, and maintaining intelligent automation solutions to optimize industrial production processes.

You will work with engineers and process experts to gain hands-on experience in APC, AI, and data analytics across global operations. You will support integration with PLC/DCS and industrial data systems, help troubleshoot issues, and contribute

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Process Engineering, Computer Science, Mechatronics, or related field.
Up to 3 years of professional experience welcomed.
Basic understanding of industrial automation and process control principles.

Responsibilities

Support maintenance and continuous improvement of expert systems for process optimization.
Analyze operational data to identify optimization opportunities.
Develop and test Advanced Process Control (APC) applications.
Assist integration with PLC, DCS, and industrial data systems.
Troubleshoot issues, alarms, and communication interfaces.
Create and maintain technical documentation.
Collaborate with international project teams and providers.
Participate in training and develop knowledge in automation, AI, and digitalization.
Support implementation projects at production plants worldwide.
