Clariant, a Swiss-based global specialty chemicals company, seeks an Advanced Process Control Lead Engineer (m/f/d) to drive the design, development, and deployment of APC solutions across its manufacturing sites. You will shape APC roadmaps, lead cross-functional teams, and mentor staff while collaborating with AI and analytics initiatives.

The role requires a Master’s degree in a related field, 3+ years APC, and 5+ years in project management.

Formación

• Master's degree required in a related field.
• 3+ years in Advanced Process Control (APC), DCS integration, and process optimization in chemicals.
• 5+ years in project management and digital solution implementation.

Responsabilidades

• Lead end-to-end APC implementation across global sites, including Model Predictive Control and real-time optimization.
• Define APC strategy, roadmaps, architecture and technology direction for Clariant.
• Develop process models and dynamic simulations to support control design.
• Collaborate with plant operations, engineering, and business units to identify APC opportunities.
• Integrate APC with digital platforms by partnering with Data Science teams to connect AI tools.
• Monitor performance, define KPIs, and drive continuous improvement of control models.
• Establish governance standards for APC across Clariant and transfer knowledge through training.
• Build internal APC competency via documentation and mentoring during handover.
