Job summary

Clariant in Lodz, Poland, is seeking an APC Lead Engineer to drive design, development, and deployment of Advanced Process Control across global sites. You will shape roadmaps, governance, and training to make APC a core capability within the Digital Projects Team.

You will lead end-to-end APC projects, define architecture and roadmaps, develop process models, and collaborate with operations, Engineering & Process Technology, and Business Units to translate complex chemistry and controls into

Qualifications

Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, Automation, or related field.
3+ years in Advanced Process Control and DCS integration in the chemical industry.
5+ years in project management and digital solution implementation.
Advanced English required; German is a plus.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end APC implementation across global sites.
Shape APC strategy with architecture and roadmaps.
Develop process models and dynamic simulations for control design.
Collaborate with plant operations, Engineering & Process Technology teams, and BU Managers to identify APC opportunities.
Integrate APC with digital platforms and AI tools.
Monitor performance with KPIs and drive improvements.
Establish governance standards for APC across Clariant.
Build internal APC competency through training and handover.
