Job summary

Sumitomo Electric Hartmetall Polska in Katowice is seeking a Junior Accountant Coordinator / Administration to join our Polish branch.

You will prepare and coordinate accounting matters, manage fixed assets and inventories, support audits and reporting, and handle branch administration including insurance and fleet management. Fluency in Polish and English (B2) and a commercial education are required; 1–2 years in Finance & Accounting and strong MS Office skills are expected.

Qualifications

• Successfully completed commercial education.
• Good knowledge of accounting and taxation standards.
• 1–2 years of working experience in Finance & Accounting & Administration in an international company or a corresponding university degree.
• Advance knowledge of MS Office. Knowledge of Business Control is welcome.
• Accurate and solution-oriented way of working.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team. Very good organization skills.
• Fluent Polish language skills and fluent English language skills (B2 Level).

Responsibilities

• Preparation and coordination of any accounting matters for the Polish Branch
• Cost analysis and supervision of accounts
• Maintaining fixed asset accounting and conducting inventories
• Fixed asset accounting and inventory
• Presentations and (financial) reports for the Management and external institutions
• Support of all Audits, Compliance & data protection
• Administration tasks in the Branch e.g. insurance handling, fleet management, etc.
