Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced accountant in Katowice, Poland to join our client services team. The role covers document checking, posting, VAT/CIT returns, ZUS/GUS filings, payroll assistance, and client communications.

Requirements include a degree in accounting, at least four years of experience, and English fluency; knowledge of French or German is a plus. We seek precise, deadline-conscious professionals who can adapt to internal procedures.

Responsibilities

• Checking accounting documents for formal and accounting accuracy
• Classifying accounting documents by assigning them to the correct accounts
• Posting documents to the books using dedicated accounting software
• Preparing VAT and CIT tax returns and tax information
• Preparing monthly and annual ZUS and GUS filings
• Assisting with payroll calculations for employees
• Preparing reports, presentations, and ad hoc notes
• Maintaining ongoing contact with clients and service providers
• Performing other routine accounting tasks
• Performing other duties reasonably related to the position held
