Job summary

Luxoft Germany is seeking an experienced Principal Java Developer to join an Agile team modernizing an enterprise platform. You will design scalable Java applications using Spring Boot, work with SQL databases, Kafka/RabbitMQ, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud services to deliver a stable, high-performance system.

The role requires mentoring junior developers, conducting code reviews, and guiding architectural decisions to ensure reliability and scalability in production environments.

Qualifications

3+ years leading a team
10+ years Java experience (Java 11+)
Strong knowledge of Spring Boot
Experience with SQL databases
Familiarity with Kafka or RabbitMQ
Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms
Solid testing skills (JUnit, Mockito)
Ability to mentor others and work in Agile teams
