Job summary

PPG is seeking a Procurement Planning Specialist in Wrocław to ensure uninterrupted availability of raw materials, packaging, labels, and other production components. You will blend purchasing, planning, supplier coordination, and inventory optimization within a hybrid work setup.

You will report to the Procurement Planning Team Leader and contribute to continuous improvement,supplier performance monitoring, and cross‑functional collaboration across Procurement and Supply Chain.

Qualifications

• Secondary or higher education; preferred degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related area.
• Experience in procurement, materials planning, or supply chain; manufacturing/FMCG experience is an advantage.
• Fluency in English and Italian is required.
• Strong MS Office skills (Excel).
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred).
• Solid understanding of business operations and supply chain flows.

Responsibilities

• Material Planning & Procurement: execute long‑ and short‑term purchasing plans for raw materials, packaging, labels, and other production components.
• Manage MRP signals, validate requirements, monitor master data accuracy, and align ordering with production and demand plans.
• Maintain component availability to achieve service and production continuity targets.
• Support new product launches, packaging changes, and promotional activities to ensure readiness and OTIF delivery.
• Replenishment of GFR (Goods for Resale) portfolio, according to demand and stock targets.
• Coordinate deliveries with logistic carriers and align with local warehouses on deliveries.
• Manage consignment warehouses, VMI accounts, min/max settings, and supplier onboarding and training.
• Track supplier performance (OTIF, capacity, delays), identifying risks and proposing corrective measures.
• Coordinate artwork approval and packaging transitions, minimizing obsolescence and reducing slow‑moving stock.
