Job summary

WLG in Bydgoszcz seeks an IT support professional to join a NATO CIS unit for on-site end-user support during exercises. You will configure and reimage workstations, deploy updates, manage user accounts, and keep auditable records of all actions.

The role requires real end-user IT support experience, hands-on time in a VDI environment, strong Windows knowledge, basic networking, and English at C1 or strong B2. Expect extended hours during exercise periods and on-site work in Poland.

Qualifications

• Real end-user IT support experience in enterprise or operational environment.
• Device setup, reimaging and software installation as routine work.
• Hands-on time in a VDI environment.
• Good working knowledge of Windows and basic networking (IP, Wi-Fi, LAN).
• Logging work in a ticketing or ITSM system and following documented procedures.
• English at C1 or strong B2 level (STANAG 6001 Level 3).

Responsibilities

• Reimaging and configuring workstations and laptops to approved baselines.
• Running approved update and patching activities on schedule.
• Administering user accounts and access rights from authorized requests.
• Preparing, deploying and recovering CIS equipment for exercises and operations.
• Maintaining complete, auditable records of all performed tasks.
• Supporting other CIS service areas on the unit where work touches endpoints.
