Job summary

HSBC Group in Kraków is seeking an IT Service Owner to take end-to-end ownership of IT services, ensuring stability, governance and continual improvement across applications, services and infrastructure.

You will collaborate with operations, technology specialists, risk and control, cyber security and senior stakeholders to deliver resilient services compliant with ITIL practices. The role is permanent, hybrid, with two days in the office at Kapelanka 42a.

Qualifications

• At least five years in IT Service Management, infrastructure or software support or project management.
• Strong ITIL knowledge, especially Service Level/Continuity/Change Management.
• Understanding of IT infrastructure, risk and issue management.
• Experience managing IT controls: access, changes, vulnerability, backup and DR.
• Proven ability with complex processes, governance and compliance requirements.
• Excellent stakeholder management and ability to present to senior leadership.
• Knowledge of Windows, Linux or databases such as Oracle.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery, support, performance and continual improvement of assigned IT services.
• Ensure services adhere to ITIL lifecycle: strategy, design, transition, operation and improvement.
• Maintain governance and compliance with IT controls and FIM requirements.
• Plan proactively for service requirements and capacity upgrades.
• Coordinate IT control activities and escalate issues as needed.
• Act as main contact for stakeholders and technology teams.
• Maintain audit readiness and address findings to prevent repeats.
• Own resilience and operational stability including DR testing and incident coordination.
