Job summary

Hitachi Energy Services SP. z o.o. in Krakow seeks an IT Service Manager to govern a portfolio of Finance applications (Accounting, Tax, Treasury) globally. You will lead service delivery, drive improvements, and ensure compliance and value from the portfolio.

You will manage vendors, stakeholders, and budgets, shaping the service line strategy in a senior, international context. Strong ITIL basis and English proficiency are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Finance, Business, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in IT Service Management within a complex international environment.
• Proven experience managing business-critical enterprise applications and Application Managed Services.
• Experience with finance processes ( Accounting, Treasury, accounts payable/receivable, consolidation, P2P).
• Proven experience managing senior stakeholders, vendors, and cross-functional teams.
• Experience with service governance, controls, and risk management in an enterprise environment.
• ITIL certification and solid ITSM knowledge.
• Experience leading teams in a matrix or global organization.
• Experience with SAP or BlackLine would be an advantage.
• Excellent written and spoken English.

The opportunity

As an IT Service Manager within the Finance domain, you will be responsible for the governance, delivery, and continuous improvement of a portfolio of applications supporting Accounting, Tax, and Treasury processes globally.

You will work closely with Finance stakeholders, application managers, vendors, and project teams to ensure services remain reliable, compliant, secure, and aligned with business needs. While application managers oversee the day-to-day operation of individual applications, you will provide overall service leadership, drive continuous improvement, manage key stakeholder relationships, and support the long-term development of the application portfolio and service line strategy.

This is a senior role combining IT service management, vendor management, compliance oversight, financial management, and people leadership. You will play a key role in ensuring that Finance technology services continue to deliver value to the business while meeting operational and regulatory requirements.

• Experience working closely with Finance functions and a solid understanding of finance processes in areas such as accounting, treasury, accounts payable, accounts receivable, consolidation, purchase-to-pay.

• Proven experience managing senior stakeholders, vendors, and cross-functional teams.

• Experience with service governance, compliance, controls, and risk management in an enterprise environment.

• ITIL certification and a good understanding of IT service management best practices.

• Experience leading teams and driving accountability in a matrix or global organization.

• Experience with SAP, BlackLine, or similar enterprise applications would be an advantage.

• Excellent written and spoken English.
