Job summary

Jit Team in Poland is seeking a security-focused professional to support threat modelling and security risk assessments across modern software solutions. You will contribute to security-focused projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify risks and propose mitigations.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of IT Security Architecture principles.
• Understanding of threats related to AI agents and LLMs.
• Familiar with STRIDE threat modelling methodologies.
• Ability to map threats to controls and remediation actions.
• Strong communication in English (B2 or higher).

Responsibilities

• Support threat modelling workshops with application and platform teams.
• Identify assets, trust boundaries, attack surfaces, threats, and risks.
• Create and maintain threat models using approved methodologies.
• Review designs and data flows for security implications.
• Collaborate to track remediation activities and document threats.
• Document identified threats, risks, and security recommendations.

Project

You will be involved in a security-focused projectsupporting application threat modelling, security risk identification, and AI-related threat assessments across modern software solutions.

Responsibilities you'll have

Support threat modelling workshops with application and platform teams

Assist in identifying assets, trust boundaries, attack surfaces, threats, and security risks

Create and maintain threat models using approved methodologies, tools, and templates

Review solution designs, architecture documentation, and application data flows

Collaborate with development and security teams to track remediation activities and mitigation actions

Document identified threats, risks, assumptions, and security recommendations

Expected competences and knowledge

Knowledge of IT Security Architecture principles

General understanding of security threats related to AI agents, machine learning systems, and Large Language Models (LLMs)

Basic knowledge of threat modelling methodologies, particularly STRIDE

Ability to support the identification of assets, trust boundaries, attack surfaces, threat actors, and abuse cases under guidance

Ability to use and update existing threat models and threat libraries

Ability to support the mapping of threats to predefined security controls and remediation actions

• Good communication skills in English (min. B2 level)
• Nice to have:
  • Ability to support the translation of technical threats into understandable business risks under guidance
  • Basic knowledge of the OWASP Top 10 for LLM Applications and MITRE ATLAS, with the ability to use these frameworks as references during threat assessments
